Sixteen years ago, just after the birth of our 4th child, a
wonderful Woman of God ministered to me at a women's meeting. The words she
spoke was immediately seized by my spirit and seemed to have immediately begun
its long and tedious work in me.
"What did you say your name was?" she
said. I did not tell her my name, but the Holy Spirit did. "Pearlene" I
responded. "That's what I thought I heard," was her reply.
"'Daughter',
the Lord says, 'you are His Precious Pearl hidden in a shell at the bottom of
the ocean. He is going to polish you and allow you to shine for the world to
see. He is going to personally clean you up Himself and polish you for His
glory.'"
I knew this would not be a very easy and comfortable process,
but I was prepared for the journey and was indeed aware of each step the Lord
brought me through. The Lord makes perfect that which concerns Him, and for us
to be truly His hands extended, we have to be like Him. We cannot give what we
have not received.
Having been raised in the comfort of a loving
Christian home, where we were not only taught to love, fear and trust the Lord;
but to also love, respect and honor those around us (especially those in
authority), did not prepare me for the pain and disappointment of the world
outside. It was these pains, disappointments, vulnerability and disillusionments
which ended up with a very low self esteem, the Lord had to deliver me
from.
After about 6 years the Lord released His Pearl from the shell and
gave me specific instructions. This work He said was to be called, "God's
Precious Pearls." Through the many challenges I faced, I knew the work was not
over and it will not be so until the Lord returns. It was during a period of a
severe trial and testing within the "safety of the church," the Lord did some
even greater work within me.
I was facing the real world, even within the
Body of Christ. It was at that time my husband bought me a set of black pearls.
I sensed these were of great significance, as the Lord always used him to speak
to me in different ways. It was during this time at a conference I was again
ministered to. "You are God's Precious Pearls….Black Pearls are very rare and
costly," were the minister's words to me. My heart thumped with joy and
excitement with the Lord's confirming this to my spirit. This blessed and
encouraged me even more and knew that I had again overcome a major battle,
having learned much in the
process.
I became more
determined, and my heart was then set on a pilgrimage to be "God's Precious
Pearls," whatever the cost. To feast at His banqueting table, to receive from
Him, His Precious Pearls that I will be able to share them with His Bride....The
Body of Christ. With each word of encouragement spoken to His Bride
through me will become a special "Pearl" just for you.
Today, like never
before, we need to encourage each other, to be strong in the Lord. There are
many souls who are hurting in so many different ways and we who have learned to
wait on the Lord and are still learning how to be over comers should encourage
others. We are to "strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees"
(Isaiah 35:3 NKJV). The light is fading and the darkness is increasing and many
need to be shown the way as the darkness increases. Many are bogged down with
cares and cannot see their way out.
May "God's Precious Pearls" be a
source of encouragement to you. We are to also, "encourage one another
daily, as long as it is called 'Today,' so that none of you [or me] may
be hardened by sin's deceitfulness" (Hebrews 3:13 NIV).
As you read
"God's Precious Pearls" may you be changed in His presence
and may each
"Pearl" adorn you for the Master's use and His Glory…He is
indeed Worthy to
be praised!!!!!
Pearl is available to minister God's
